Vote for your choice in new poll It's been an extraordinary year for documentaries, hasn't it? And we still have months to go... months that will bring the release of He Named Me Malala from director Davis Guggenheim and Amazing Grace from late director Sydney Pollack, to name but a couple. Exceptional films to hit theaters (and in one case Netflix) already this year include The Wolfpack from first-time director Crystal Moselle and the intimate Listen to Me Marlon from director Stevan Riley. Dior and I has been called the best fashion documentary of the year, but what about best documentary, period? Amy from director Asif Kapadia and The Look of Silence from Joshua Oppenheimer head into awards season as serious contenders. Or, there might be a dark horse like... Dark Horse.
