The teams behind Free Solo and Period. End of Sentence. basked in the glow of Oscar victory Monday, with a grueling awards season suddenly in the rear view mirror.

Before they headed to Oscar parties around town, E. Chai Vasarhelyi, Jimmy Chin, Shannon Dill and Evan Hayes of Free Solo took questions backstage at the Academy Awards. So did director Rayka Zehtabchi and producer Melissa Berton of Period. End of Sentence, the winner in the short documentary category.
