What would a film festival be with some good parties? Not to be outdone by Sundance, SXSW or other sparkling festivals, AFI Fest capped its first full day with a good half-dozen parties alone at the Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. I attended the Filmmakers Welcome event on the rooftop.
