It was a busy weekend for 87-year-old Dolores Huerta, the renowned labor rights activist and subject of the new documentary Dolores.

She appeared at screenings for Peter Bratt's film in Los Angeles and the Bay Area, demonstrating the kind of energy and conviction that have made her one of the most successful organizers of her time. Below are photos and videos from the 7:30pm screening at the Nuart Theatre in West L.A. on Friday (September 8). All photos and video by Matt Carey.

Dolores leads the audience in a Sí Se Puede chant. She came up with the slogan decades ago, which was later adopted by Barack Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign.

Martin Sheen moderates the Q&A. He has a long history supporting the work of Huerta and Cesar Chavez.
